Johnson City Country Club
since 1913
The Johnson City Country Club has a long and distinguished history and tradition. It has been an integrated part of the community since 1913. The tradition began when the Club was founded as a nine hole private golf course with 200 charter members. The members solicited the services of world famous golf course architect, A. W. Tillinghast, who developed the original design. Sixty years after his death, 18 of his course designs are still ranked in the top 100 Best List in the United States. The Club also offers the only private indoor tennis facility as well as outdoors hard and clay court surfaces. The swimming program offers the only olympic and high dives along with children's swim facilities. Lastly, the Club has one of the finest dining and banquet facilites in the Tri-Cities, special events to suit every taste and a sense of camaraderie you won't find anywhere else. The Club's central in town location makes it convenient for daily family use. The Club also provides members with a safe, convenient and quiet atmosphere and environment for both adults' and children's activities. No waiting in line for a table, a tee time or tennis play. The JCCC is great for relaxation, strengthening family bonds, entertaining social and business contacts and more!
